Thorns of Becoming
Trapped in silence, crowned in pain, this figure doesn’t just carry suffering. It becomes it.
With limbs folded like broken prayers and a crown of thorns clutched to the face, the piece evokes Christ not as a savior above us, but as a human among us, wounded, real, and enduring. The fractured body speaks to a shared agony, a collective grief we rarely name out loud.
This isn’t just art. it’s a confession. A reckoning. A relic for anyone who’s had to rebuild themselves from ruin.
